KMind v2.4.0 National Day Update - Create KMind Docs Directly from Document Tree (October 5, 2024)
Happy National Day everyone!
Overview (October 5, 2024):
Added the ability to create KMind documents directly from the SiYuan document tree, plus right-click node options to create child documents - perfect for MOC workflows!
New Features:
Create KMind documents directly from the SiYuan document tree: Right-click document tree -> Plugins -> KMind -> Create KMind Document (Pro)
Create linked SiYuan documents from nodes: Select node -> Right-click -> Click 'Node Child Document' (Pro)
Improvements & Fixes:
Enhanced SiYuan hyperlink handling: Links now correctly navigate to specific blocks across mobile, docker, and PC platforms. Docker users will no longer be redirected to their local PC client
Fixed: Widget now automatically enters Zen mode on first render
Improved mobile display - currently view-only mode
Known Issues:
Since KMind saves files at the document level, please avoid opening the same mind map simultaneously in multiple places. This prevents data conflicts. Risky scenarios include:
- Opening the same map on multiple devices (Even just viewing can cause conflicts since KMind stores view data in the source file - any drag or view operations will update this data, leading to inconsistencies across devices)
- Split-screen viewing (right or down) of the same map
- Any other scenario where the same map is opened multiple times...
When opening KMind documents from the document tree, if you switch to a second KMind document before the first one finishes loading, the first document may fail to load properly. Simply close and reopen the first document to resolve this (your data is safe and won't be lost)
Due to the above limitations, mobile access is currently restricted to view-only mode
